Post #1 Why I Read

I read because I love to get lost in a book. Spending time to just go into that world and experience what is going on in that book. It puts you in new situations and shows you what it would be like to be a different person or a different character. You get to know the characters and what they go through personally as if they were a real person. Reading is like making your own movie version of the book. You can relate it to you and your life and the people you know to everything in the book. Reading expands your imagination and takes you to  places you never thought possible or may never be possible in the world we live in. It makes you think outside of the box and new possibilities. When I read it is just me and the book and personal time to think on how the book changes my thoughts or sparks thoughts about different topics. Reading allows you to think about things brought up in the book can put you in different situations through the character as said before. It is like experiencing what is happening but not having to be actually there. I love the crisp pages that I turn to fall further into the book. Most of all I love the adventures where books take me.
